Hello and Merry Christmas to all of our Nichols Notes readers. Let me say also that I have been away from doing our weekly articles because I have been involved in working on getting our new network on the air. Very soon, instead of reading my notes once a week, you will be able to link up with our network and see and hear me updating you on a daily basis. Exciting times are ahead!

For this issue, I want to give you several topics and touch on each one in a way that lets you know what is actually happening and not covered by the mainstream media. Also, we have reinstituted advertising. You can skip by it if you choose, but we hope that you will patronize our advertisers.

A SLICK TRICK

The first topic is the oil for food scandal. Folks, this is the prelude to Bill Clinton becoming the next U.N. Secretary General.

The first thing you need to know about the oil for food scandal is that it was actually developed in 1998 under Bill Clinton's administration. I tried to warn people back then that this was a program wrought with graft and specifically designed to get money to members of the U.N. in return for their votes to help Clinton obtain the office of Secretary General of the U.N., when it was time.

The problem that Clinton did not foresee was President George W. Bush invading Iraq and causing this money for votes to become exposed. Even though that seems bad for Clinton, as always, Clinton luck will prevail. What is actually happening is that the oil for food scandal is firing up Americans against how the U.N. operates and is increasing the number of Americans that want us out of the U.N. all together. Of course, you are asking yourself "How could this negative publicity and image of the U.N. help Bill Clinton in his quest for power of that world body?"

The answer is simple. The only way the American people will regain trust in the U.N. would be for an American to take over as Secretary General. It is that situation that will pave the way for Bill Clinton. I know, most of you cringe at the thought of Bill Clinton heading up the U.N. and are wondering, with his scandalous past, how his taking over as Secretary General could do anything to increase the trust of the American people in the U.N.?

Unfortunately the truth is that under the 40% 40% 20 % rule, forty percent of the people hate or do not trust Bill Clinton and forty percent believe he could do no wrong and there is that twenty percent that don't care one way or the other about Bill Clinton but want us out of the U.N.

Kofi Annan, the present Secretary General of the U.N. is toast. Vintage Clinton, Kofi Annan will soon be given an offer he can't refuse. He will be forced to resign which will protect him from any further investigations and protect him from any future legal actions and/or prosecutions. As the Clintons are known to do, when there is something they want, they will always use the tactic of exposing what someone has to hide or their price to get what they want. Kofi Annan is soon to be another notch in Clinton's system of squeezing someone in a way that benefits the Clintons.

You might wonder, how if Kofi Annan steps down, will the investigations of the oil for food scandal stop... when we all know that it runs a lot deeper than just Kofi Annan? Well folks, the oil for food scandal, if thoroughly investigated, would expose a whole lot of people that our government and many other governments around the world cannot allow to take place right now. The good news is that this is going to be a slick trick and you will marvel in the coming weeks and months how it is pulled off.

THE WAR WITH IRAQ, OR SHOULD IT BE THE WAR WITH IRAN?

This issue is a tough one for me because I know how stressed and strained our military is in Afghanistan and Iraq and I don't believe that we are in a position to involve ourselves in another major conflict especially in the Middle East. One wrong move in that region will not only light up the Moslems in the Middle East but also around the world. But, I don't believe that we have any choice.

If you are thinking that a move on Iran is inevitable because of their rich oil reserves, this time, I promise you are wrong.

The dilemma we find ourselves in which may cause us to go to war with Iran has very little if anything to do with oil and everything to do with Israel. It is becoming more and more obvious that Iran is not only perfecting their nuclear capabilities, they are also developing new and long-range missiles to deliver their nuclear warheads. Well in range of these new weapons lies Israel and Israel will never wait to act until Iran is in a position to attack them.

The problem for the Bush administration is that Israel will not wait much longer to tend to the problem. Israel has proven before that they will bomb potential threats. The Bush administration will have to try to use diplomacy that they know will have little if any impact to try and buy time from Israel and to free up some of our troops and weapons systems in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I believe that the key event to allow us a more effective policy towards Iran is the election January 30 in Iraq. I also believe President Bush knows all too well that he is running out of time and after the election in Iraq, Israel will put the monkey right square on his shoulders or should I say, on our backs to do something or they will.

If there is any good news about a potential conflict with Iran it is that the populous of that country remembers their better days and lifestyles. The days before the fundamentalist regimes took control. That means, we can use our ability to target the military loyal to the fundamentalist regime and the leaders of Iran at will. If the leadership of Iran has any doubt of our skill, effectiveness and our resolve they need only to look at Iraq the same way Kadafi did in Libya.

In President Bush's defense, this is not a war he needs or wants, however, it is a war I fear is on the near horizon.

HILLARY

Many people closely involved with the Clintons are depressed that Hillary was bluffed out of running in this last election. They know that if she had entered the race that she would now be waiting to be sworn in as President of the United States in January. Thanks to all of you and of course, the many talk show hosts around the country, we stopped her, but as in typical Clinton style they have already started her campaign for the election in 2008!

There are several key factors that prove they have already started, but the most significant factor is the hiring of Ann Lewis to head up a nation fundraising effort. Even though it may be said that this move is to fund her Senate election in 2006, very few if anyone with one ounce of political common sense believes it.

You see, it is not Hillary hiring Ann Lewis, which is significant. It is what Ann Lewis has said that gives us our greatest clue. I can't quote her exactly, but generally Ann Lewis said that she is working to help get Hillary elected to the senate but that Hillary should not be held to a higher standard than others in Washington. What that means is that Hillary should be allowed to do what her male counterparts have done which is to be re-elected to the Senate or Congress and once they win, use it as a launching pad for the White House.

By the way, Bill Clinton did it in his 1990 race to be re-elected Governor of Arkansas. I exposed then what he was going to do and in his now last famous debate of that race, he was asked if he would serve out his full term as Governor or was he just using that election as his launch in the 1992 presidential campaign. His answer was simple as he said all he wanted to do was be governor and that he had no intention of running for president in 1992. However, once the election was over and he had won, the last time Arkansas saw him was January of 1991, at his swearing in ceremony and he then started traveling the country getting support for his presidential bid. So, as the old saying goes, "History has a way of repeating itself." However, when it comes to the Clintons, their philosophy is that when a trick works, never change it.

To all of my Nichols Notes readers--we stopped Hillary once. I fully intend to stop her again. One thing that would help us would be for the Republican Party to start building their campaign to defeat Hillary now. If they wait much longer it will be too late for them and with a Hillary as President and a Bill as Secretary General of the U.N., it will be too late for all of us. However, take heart. I know what they will do before they will do it. So will you, and together there will be a surprise or two that will make Bill and Hillary's plan to be the most powerful couple in the history of the world fall short of their goals.
