PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH, HOW CAN YOU WIN THE WAR IN IRAQ

As I have told you repeatedly the real war for Iraq is yet to happen. It will occur when the Media, the Democrats and the Clinton 2004 Presidential Campaign start attacking Bush for how it failed. To save time, go to the First 'Nichols Notes' for the details of how, why and what we thought we won, but they, (the three groups mentioned above) will be able to re-write history and make us understand that what we think we saw really didn't happen. They will convince our nation that we not only lost the war, but also will lose the peace.

This article is not about how President Bush will lose the real war in Iraq, nor lose his bid for re-election in 2004. This article is about how he can win both the war and the election, while at the same time put down the most dangerous powerful couple in our nation's history, the Clinton's, once and for all.

To start, Bush needs to understand that politics, Clinton style, is closely akin to war and mortal combat. This concept in modern day politics is called "Total War." A term I can assure you I am very familiar with. Before Bush knows what hit him, it will be too late. Also, his political demise will not be fast, it will be slow and extremely painful not to mention, final.

Once you understand this concept it is possible to win against the Clinton's if you use real war tactics and history as your guide to a viable battle plan. General George Armstrong Custer, during his successful Civil War period, is probably the best example to follow as a foundation for the Bush Campaign. Custer had a system that gave him victory after victory while other Generals for the Army of the North continually suffered defeat at the hands of a vastly inferior Army of the South. What was General Custer's system? He always rode to the sound of the guns. Meaning, he knew where the battle was by hearing the sound of the cannons in the distance, and lead his soldiers toward the sound. Sound simple, well it was, however, you must understand that during the Civil War there were no radios to allow for command and control to guide troops strategically into battle as it is done today. Once troops were committed to a position as a part of the overall battle plan, it was very tedious, if not impossible to shift them to another position to do battle with the enemy, if they were not where they were supposed to be.

As impossible as this may sound, it did not bother as many field commanders as you would imagine. The reason was that many Generals, especially early in the war on the side of the North had little if any desire to fight. To fight meant that they might lose a battle and to be placed where the enemy wasn't, meant they may not have fought the battle. They were sent in to fight, but at least they didn't have to face the possibility of a loss either.

Custer, on the other hand, knew that even if his command ended up in a position where he had no enemy to face, his ability to ride to the sound of the cannons meant he and his force could find the enemy and fight the battle, he was hired to fight. His creativeness in finding a battle, along with his aggressive approach into the enemy forces enabled him to amass an impressive number of victories and created a legend that lives even today.

How does this history of Custer help the Bush Campaign team? For Bush and his campaign team to win their re-election they are going to have to fight. They had better learn to hear the sounds of the cannons in the distance and go to them and charge into the enemy with extreme aggressiveness and knock them off balance and out of their battle plan. Never, I mean never wait for the roar of the Clinton big guns to come to you. If you do, you will end up defending yourself against their battle plan and they will win the day and you will be relegated to leave the battle field in defeat. It should go without saying, many of those kinds of days in a political war and the momentum will turn against you and you will lose. Remember, Americans love winners and it will not be long until your past victories will fade into the sunset and your political career will fade even faster.

Now, President Bush I know you have high dollar political consultants all around you that will tell you "who is this guy trying to tell you how to run a campaign." "We're the best, we got you here and we will keep you here." To that I say, I am nobody and I accept that. But I would caution you to think about a couple of things before you get too comfortable with where you are, how you got there and how brilliant the people were that helped you get there.

You fought Al Gore not the Clinton's. You did not fight the varsity you fought the "B" team. "Damn Boy" you barely beat him, or have you forgotten? Your political brain trust lost against the Clinton's for your Dad when your Dad had just won a great victory in the Gulf War. No one had ever even heard of Bill Clinton, a Podunk womanizer from a state that was at the bottom of all other states in things that were good and at the top of the list of all states in things that were bad. To add insult to injury, just think about how bad your Dad would have lost if all of the information about Bill Clinton's womanizing, draft dodging and drug usage had not come out during that race. Somehow this nobody was able to fight the Clinton's, the mob, the liberal media and above all, your political brain trust to get it out. Go figure!

Just to complain a little, I had to put up with Hillary going on T.V. and blaming everything that was getting out about their personal lives "A Vast right wing conspiracy." When in fact, the only "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" there was at that time was the guy that is talking to you now and a handful of brave souls, (most dead now, and I don't mean just politically) that dared to help me. None of your so called "brain trust" were anywhere around.

Excuse me, since I'm on a roll, your guys weren't even around while we were fighting Clinton during his first term as President. President Bush, we had Clinton on the ropes, he was down and waiting for the count. You guys put the only person in America that could have not beaten him in as the Republican candidate. Your guys put none other than Bob Dole in the race against Bill Clinton and dare to still claim the title "Brain Trust."

If your people try to dispute my version of history on Clinton's re-election campaign, I suggest you ask them why both the Senate and Congress were lost from Democrat control and all your Republican candidates had to do to beat long term incumbent Democrats was to "morph" (to change in form or character) Clinton's head onto their bodies in their T.V. ads. Thank God the American people got the message many of your "Brain Trust" didn't and still don't.

In conclusion, how do you win against the Clinton's in 2004? Charge into their forces now before they have time to organize and start attacking you. When Custer heard the sound of the big guns he knew where the enemy was and hit them first and won. At the Little Big Horn, the Indians didn't have big guns to guide him into that battle and apparently his "Brain Trust" couldn't count Indians. By that I mean they could not determine the size or strength of their opponent on that fateful day. But most of all they failed to follow the most basic of military/political rules, that is know your enemy and never, I mean never, (I know I have said this twice in this article-but its my article) underestimate him or her or them. By the way, there is another lesson to learn from Custer's history. It is one I mentioned earlier but you better remember it. Of all of Custer's great battles, most of which he won, the one that most Americans remember is the Battle At the Little Big Horn---the one he lost. Get the picture?

HOW BUSH CAN WIN THE WAR IN IRAQ

Before I continue with this article I had better explain something to you. You may tire of my constant comparison of politics Clinton style to that of war and the military. But truly it is the only way to mount a viable strategy to fight people like the Clinton's when you are against them in a political contest. It's the way they have been trained to think and act and if you can't beat them at their own game, you can't beat them. If you doubt how seriously they take the war mentality in a campaign, then you should remember the name they gave to the crisis management center they put together to respond to the scandals they knew I would get out on them. It was called "The War Room." As Clinton always said when they got rough against George Bush Sr. and Bob Dole in both of his Presidential races, "Politics in Arkansas is a contact sport." And it was against the Clinton's then and it will be now.

The next lesson President George Bush and his campaign must learn to be able to beat the Clinton's in 2004 comes from another General from the Civil War. General Nathan Bedford Forrest, while not as famous as Custer for the Union Army to most people, he was incredibly successful and in his case he fought for the Confederate Army of the South. He was based in Tennessee and his theatre of war time activity was throughout that State, Mississippi and Alabama.

He, probably more than any General for either side, consistently defeated vastly superior forces in both size and armament. General Forrest was in charge of a light Calvary force consisting of a relatively small number of men. This Calvary unit was highly recognized for its record during the Civil War. Much like Custer for the North, Forrest had a boldness and aggressiveness that generally caused the enemy to capitulate out of confusion and fear. His lack of force size in most of his battles was never known to his enemies. This was because his attacks were always conducted in the manner used only by a larger force, when attacking a numerically inferior enemy. This worked because during the Civil War there was a formal code of conduct that dictated how battles were implemented. Maybe a formal code is a little rigid.

However, tactics, troop formation and movements were usually similar by both armies. Remember most Generals for both sides learned and studied the art of War together at West Point. It was only until the country divided and forced most officers to join the army on whichever side of the Mason Dixon line they hailed from. Both sides could generally determine the troop size and strength of the other side by the tactics they employed in battle, since they both used the same rule book. Not General Nathan Bedford Forrest, he must have used a book that as of that day was not studied by the Union Army, because they continually surrendered to his unit. Even though they had the superior force when in fact, as they would find out later, his force was always much smaller and they had been had.

Bush's campaign should pay very close attention to the lessons to be learned from General Forrest, both on offense and defense against, the Clinton's. Offensively, the Bush Campaign should remember that just because you may not command a super position on an issue, you can still win, if you know how to make the Clinton's and the liberal media think you have the stronger position. If you study and know your enemy, in this case of the Clinton's you will know the signs they look for to judge your resolve on an issue and how they think the public feels about your stand.

If they detect you truly control the high ground on an issue they will break off that issue and go on to another that they think they will control. Then they will do their best, with the aid of the liberal media, to see that your issue does not become part of the national debate. They will work to skirmish with you to test many campaign issues until they pick the ones that work well for them. They will force you into spending as much of your political assets fighting the ones that make you look bad. The Clinton's are always one inch deep and a mile wide on everything and nothing is sacred or lasts forever.

This is probably your strongest clue as to how to beat them, it means that they don't believe in any position enough to really fight to the death for it. They believe if they have to walk away from an issue and it may look bad having to do it, they believe they will rally with a new issue and with the help of their media friends, the public will soon forget. They pull this trick all the time and it always works. The only way ever to beat the Clinton's at this game is to do what I did on all of the scandals I brought out and they tried to stop. Never quit, no matter how bad it gets, never let go and they can't deal with someone that actually will not quit if things get rough. Oh, one little tip in this area, they are always "fluff," you had better always be "facts." The truth will always win out in the end, it's just when you're fighting the Clinton's, and they can make you wonder if you ever will get to the end. I did and you will, if you and everyone around you are tough enough to take the pain.

Remember General Nathan Bedford Forrest and if you are bold and aggressive enough, the Clinton's will always surrender to your superior force, whether you have one or not. Reality is as one perceives it. Forrest used this trick and so can you. Remember, the Clinton's certainly will.

Defensively, there is only one way to beat the Clinton's and in this area I would suggest you let history and three people that used the same tactics be your guide, General George Armstrong Custer, General Nathan Bedford Forrest and me. Attack first and then never stop moving forward and keep attacking the enemy again and again. How could I be so presumptuous to put myself in the league of such great men? Don't worry I don't. After all, they fought incredible battles, often against superior forces and through courage and boldness won. They are truly two Generals that all Americans can be proud of. Their accomplishments during the Civil War earned them the right of the title of truly Great Americans. In my case, I just fought Bill Clinton and only about 40% of Americans think I won, because I along with many others eventually got the truth out about who and what really was. In my case very few Americans even know my name and that is truly great by me.

There is one other special lesson Forrest left for those that are wise enough to study and learn it. Forrest, unlike other officers for both sides during the Civil War, sharpened both sides of the blade of his sword. The customary policy was to sharpen only the leading edge of the blade, leaving the backside of the blade of the sword blunt.

Forrest constantly warned his soldiers that when they went into battle with the enemy that his troops should stay away from him. The reason was when he started swinging his sword anyone and everyone around his double edged sword was going to get cut. President Bush, there are only three people I know that when thrust into a real bad political situation that you had better not get around or you will get hurt. Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and me. If you play the Clinton's right and get them in a tight enough spot they will swing their double edged swords. They will surprise and cut their own people. They will destroy them to save their own political future. In my case, I at least tell you that you don't want to stand too close to me when I am fighting the Clinton's. You see, my sword is sharp on both edges and when I start swinging everyone gets hurt. I did swing my sword the last time and a lot of people got hurt. For that I am truly sorry. Forrest used great skill and courage while using his sword in battle. I just used my sword. You should follow the example of General Nathan Bedford Forrest, not Larry Nichols.

THE CLINTON'S WORK HARD TO BE GREAT

Bill and Hillary Clinton work harder than anyone I have ever known to try and achieve the title of GREATNESS. It should be known to most everyone in the world that they will lie, cheat, steal or do whatever it takes to obtain that goal. Clearly anyone or anything that dares to get in this couples way to the top will face certain destruction. To them the destruction of another's life is only a bump in the road to their success. To the Clinton's marshalling up the strength to tear another person down to help them up the ladder of fame is no more an effort than that of the strength it takes to blink an eye. They are truly GREAT in the art of the end justifies the means.

I will say also that they are great at carrying their Bibles into church when the need arises to show the world what great Christians they are. I, on the other hand can claim only that I believe in God and fall far from the greatness that can be achieved by going to Church every Sunday for all to see. I would be a hypocrite, if I were to tell you today I read my Bible everyday for all to see. How then could I possibly be able to stop the Clinton's in their rise to power and greatness?

The answer to that question is tough. They go to church to show the world that they are Christians. They carry Bibles for the media to show their commitment to their faith as they walk up the steps to their Church. They make sure the camera angles are just right for the "photo-op" when they pray. When I pray and I do not pray enough, nor do I spend the quality time with God, as I should, I pray alone.

For all of my failures to match the Clinton's in showing how great a Christian I am, and for all of my sins and short comings, I pray God forgives me. I pray God will accept my personal failings and short comings and continue to protect and guide me.

To the Clinton's, you truly have claimed the Right of Greatness, as for me, I can claim only the Right of Passage. The Right of Passage through the gates into Heaven for claiming the Greatness of God is what I want and the right of passage for once in my life for telling the truth. The Clinton's have lied, cheated and achieved great things. I told the truth and have caused much shame and suffering to myself, my family and friends.

What lesson possibly can I show my daughter to help her pick the right path for her life? First, she has figured out for herself that I am not a deep enough thinker to be able to ponder such a question as this. Second, she can easily see I set a bad example. I say I believe in God but I don't go to church or read my Bible as I should. I believe it is the third point that helps me out of this dilemma. I know God gave me a little help with this one, my daughter knows I told the truth about the Clinton's and that they lied. How does she know this? Why would I claim God helped me out. It is just plain simple God fixed it so that when the Clinton's lied, the world now knows all about it. When I told the truth, my daughter and the world saw God allow me to prove it. Thanks Beth and Thanks God. And to the Clinton's, God made sure your being great wasn't so great after all.

I would like to show the Clinton's that I know some scriptures and I have one that I think they need to hear. God, please forgive me if I get this a little wrong or I say it in a way that seems disrespectful. I hope you know I'm trying to do better with my foul mouth. Bill, Hillary we are fixing to do battle again as you get ready to enter the race against Bush in 2004. I hope you put on your armor from God as I plan to do. You'll notice neither of our suits of armor from God have protection in the back.

What God is trying to tell us is that we are to charge forward in the name of God. If we do what God instructs us to do while wearing His armor we don't need to have protection on the backside!

As for me, I would just like to warn you that even though you claim the armor as I will, know this. If either of you show your derriere (buttocks in case you do not) this time like you did before when Bill was running for and became President, God has given me the authority with the full protection of His armor to just plum knock off both of your derrieres. God thanks again. Kind folks, that's at least the way I see it!
