SADDAM CAPTURED, GREAT JOB BY OUR TROOPS.
Today, December 14, 2003, we're hearing about how we have finally captured Saddam Hussein hiding is a "spider hole" in the ground in a mud hut in Iraq. Looking more like a homeless person from the streets, Saddam, bearded, disheveled and unkempt was taken into custody by soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division. Let me be very clear on this point, WE didn't capture Saddam, our troops did in a lightning fast raid that could have only been put together by the armed forces of the United States.
It was not president George Bush, nor was it the endless stream of
politicians from both sides of the aisle that rushed to grab all the
TV time they could as the news of Saddam's capture flooded the
airwaves. (By the way, I thought that they had all gone home for the
holidays. Oh, I forgot, they are home, its just not the home that we
thought they should go back to at least once in a while.)
Let me say it again, the people that actually got Saddam Hussein were
the men and women of the US Armed Forces. Kids that just a couple of
years ago were in high school and that months ago were working in
jobs here at home and did "part time army stuff." BABY, TAKE A LOOK
AT THEM NOW! Today, they are standing taller than ever and you can
bet that unlike what you are reading in the newspapers and hearing on
the network news, moral couldn't be higher.
The day will soon come when we will look back on this day and wonder
why we thought it was so great. Why on earth would I make such a
negative statement? Simple, I know what is coming and it's called
the Presidential Campaign of 2004. Just like when I told you that it
wouldn't take but a couple of months for us to be told that we really
didn't see the war in Iraq the way that we thought we saw it.
Look, today is a great day for our soldiers. They won the Super Bowl
of catching tyrannical dictators and we should all stand up and cheer
for them. A cheer that is so loud that they will be able to hear it
all the way in Iraq and wherever they are around the world, because
they "done good." At the same time that we make sure that they hear
our cheer, we need to make sure that the politicians also here it and
that they don't try to take credit for something that they had
nothing to do with. and that goes for both parties.
You know, all of us here at home might learn a lesson from our
soldiers in the field and try to be the BEST AMERICANS WE CAN BE.
The least we can do for them and our country is to try to be as good
at being an American as they are at being soldiers. Why? Because if
we did, then this article might have been titled: SADDAM CAUGHT,
GREAT JOB BY OUR TROOPS AND OUR CONSTITUTION WAS SAVED, GREAT JOB
AMERICANS! Think about it.
HILLARY IS CAUGHT IN HER OWN TRAP
Hillary Clinton has had a bad hair day for two weeks now. First,
President Bush beat her in her media play in Iraq on Thanksgiving.
His trip to Iraq totally up-staged Hillary and her big show for the
media showing her leadership in going to Iraq where she could claim
that she had actually been to Iraq and that President Bush had not
been. Of course, her going and spending a few days bouncing in and
out of Afghanistan and Iraq hardly would qualify Hillary as the
female equivalent of John Wayne but with the Clintons it could have
been played up that way.
It really doesn't matter now because on Thanksgiving Day President
George Bush beat Hillary and she knows it and there is nothing she
could or can do about it.
Second, apparently an audiotape recorded by the FBI has surfaced in
which Hillary is telling someone involved in the on going
investigation of illegal campaign funding of both Bill and Hillary's
campaigns, to burn the evidence. If Hillary actually told someone to
burn or destroy evidence and the FBI has a recording of the
conversation, Hillary could be in big trouble. Notice I did not say
she was finished, with the Clintons ability of making you believe
that you didn't really hear what you thought you heard is now
Washington "folklore". Remember, the media will help them in ways
that they would not help anyone else. In any event she did mess up
big time on this one.
Third, the National Examiner, a tabloid newspaper, broke a story on
its cover about Hillary's lesbian problem. Now, I know it is just a
tabloid story, but do not forget how I had to use Star Magazine to
break the Jennifer Flowers story because the main stream press wanted
to cover the story up. It is now history! I did get that story all
over the world! Now the question for you is.is history repeating itself?
The fourth and almost as big a problem as President Bush beating
Hillary in Iraq was Al Gore slamming the Clintons by his surprise
endorsement of Howard Dean for the Democratic primary race for
President.
Al Gore used this trick to "jam up" the Clintons plan to make it look
like Dean could not get the support of long time Democrats. Their
plan was to make it look like Dean only had the support from the
Internet community. They do not consider those people as true
Democrats and he would not be able to get the Democratic Party
loyalist to join behind him in a way that could beat President George
Bush in the general election. This would leave Hillary as the only
person that could lead the Democrats to beat President Bush. Well,
Al Gore fixed that!
By his endorsement of Dean, he has shown that true Democrats can get
behind Dean and he can beat President Bush if they do. Hillary now
has a real problem in that if Dean begins to gain momentum, she will
not be needed as the only person the Democrats have that can beat
President Bush. Thanks to Al Gore. Pay back is tough, sometimes.
By Hillary playing coy and trying to rig the Democratic Primary race,
instead of going on and getting in the race she now is caught in a
trap, she actually created. By maintaining that she has no plans to
run in 2004, for as long as she has and not at least giving the
Democrats some ray of hope that she might, Hillary may well have
created a situation in which she may not be needed.
As I told you in earlier Nichols Notes articles, playing the draft
game is slick, if you know how to do it. But, you have to be real
careful and play it just right or somebody might get some momentum
and it would not work. Hillary is not over and they still have
tricks to play but she has to be real careful now.
Don't worry, Hillary is still coming and this is her time, if she is
good enough to claim it, but we may just be able to cause her to miss
her time with destiny and stop the Clintons quest for global power
forever.
Hang on folks, as there will be more bad hair days coming for Hillary
on a regular basis.
See You Next Week and May God Bless,

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
God in the Old and New Testaments had man prophesying or predicting
events to come. This is a declaration of that which cannot be known
by natural means. It is the foretelling of the will of God, whether
with reference to the past, present or the future.
